R.W. Bro. James (Jim) Johnson

R. W. Bro Jim Johnson was born in 1943 and raised in Erickson, Manitoba. Jim was educated in Erickson and Winnipeg, Manitoba. He o btained his Business Administration Degree in Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton – (He was constantly moving).

Jim worked in the flooring business for 45 years and retired in February 2008.

Jim however returned to work as V. P. of Ashley Fine Floors & is kept busy establishing new floor covering stores throughout Alberta in The Brick Stores.

Jim has been married to Marilyn for 45 years, and they have two children - a daughter, Debbie – who is a School Teacher and lives in St. Albert. Debbie has two children Jim and Marilyn’s Grand Children, Holden age 7 and Garry age 22. – a son, Allan – who Lives in Hong Kong and is a Pilot for Cathay Pacific.

Jim was passed and raised in Jasper Lodge #14 in Edmonton in1982 and was a member there for 25 years.

Jim is a Past Master of Baseline Lodge #198 in Spruce Grove having served as Master in 1994-95.

Jim was involved as Leader in Scout movement for 12 years and now again with young grandson. Jim is an avid gardener .and when not gardening he can usually be found building something for himself or others.
